Commercial Production Agreement
This is our handshake on paper. Written in plain English — because that's how we do business.

Parties: Sonkofa Studio LLC (“Sonkofa”, “we”, “us”) and the business or individual named below (“Client”, “you”).
Effective date: the date you sign at the bottom.
1What you're hiring us to do
We'll script, storyboard, produce, and deliver a commercial video for your business based on the Spot tier. Scope includes: 1 AI-generated social spot, 1080p MP4 + vertical 9:16 cut. All footage is generated using our proprietary AI video pipeline (SonkofaMuse AI) combined with professional post-production. Out-of-scope work is quoted separately.
2What it costs & how you pay
- Production fee: $397 — you choose the payment path at checkout:
- Pay in 4 — 4 interest-free installments via Afterpay, Klarna, or Zip (availability depends on your card issuer).
- 50/50 Split — 50% at signing to unlock pre-production, 50% at final delivery.
- Pay in Full — one-time payment, priority production slot, and one bonus edit on us.
- All invoices are sent through Stripe. Cards, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and available Pay-in-4 methods will show up on the secure checkout page.
- Late invoices accrue a 1.5% per month fee after 15 days past due. Final deliverables are released only after full payment clears.
3Timeline
We aim to deliver your commercial in 5–7 business days from the day we receive your first payment AND all materials we need (brand guide or colors, logo, product photos, talking points, approved script direction). If materials are delayed past 30 days, we may pause your project and invoice the completed work.
4What you give us
- Business info, logo, brand colors, any existing product or location photos within 7 days of starting.
- Target audience, core message, and a competitor example or mood reference (if you have one).
- Timely feedback on the script, storyboard, and drafts (within 48 business hours of us sending).
- Final approval of the script before we enter production. Post-approval script changes count as a new revision round.
- Payment on the schedule above.
5What we give you
- Creative concept, written script, and storyboard approval before we shoot pixel one.
- 1 AI-generated social spot, 1080p MP4 + vertical 9:16 cut
- Royalty-free music track licensed for commercial use on all digital platforms (social, web, YouTube, paid ads).
- AI-generated voiceover (male or female, multiple accents available). Human voiceover available as a $150 upgrade.
- 1 round of revisions included. Additional revision rounds: $125 each.
- Raw master file delivered via secure cloud link. You keep the files forever.
- Reply to support requests within 1 business day.
6Who owns what
- You own the finished commercial and all rights to use it however you want — social, web, paid ads, TV, trade shows, forever, in perpetuity, globally.
- We retain the right to showcase the finished commercial in our portfolio and on Sonkofa Studio's website, YouTube, and social media (we won't share private business data).
- The music license, stock elements, and AI-generated voice are licensed for your commercial use but are not exclusive to you — they may appear in other productions.
- Raw project files (After Effects, Premiere, source layers) stay with us. If you ever want the raw project files, they are available for a flat $299 export fee.
7Revision policy
A “revision round” = up to 5 small changes submitted together (music swap, tightening a cut, adjusting on-screen text, color grade tweak, pacing edit). Rewriting the script, changing the core concept, or reshooting entire scenes counts as a new production and will be quoted separately. We make 2 passes max per revision round to keep the project moving.
8What this plan does NOT include
- Live-action filming with real actors, drone footage, or on-location shoots (custom quote).
- Union talent, SAG-AFTRA voiceover, or celebrity endorsements.
- Translation or foreign-language versions (available at $150 per additional language).
- Paid media placement (TV, YouTube Ads, Meta Ads buy-in). We deliver the asset; you run the ads.
- Ongoing social media management or content calendar.
9If something goes wrong
We stand behind our work. If a deliverable has a technical defect (corrupt file, wrong aspect ratio, missing audio) within 14 days of delivery, we fix it free. Creative disagreements after final approval (you approve, then change your mind) are handled as a new revision round at $125.
10Limits of liability
We make commercials. We don't guarantee specific business outcomes (sales lift, ad spend ROI, view counts, conversions) because those depend on your budget, targeting, creative direction, product-market fit, and factors outside our control. Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us for this production.
11Pausing or canceling the project
- You can pause the project at any time. Payments already made are non-refundable. Any completed work (script, storyboard, rough cut) is invoiced to date.
- Cancel before delivery: any payments already made are non-refundable. Completed work beyond that will be invoiced at 50% of the remaining balance. (If you chose Pay-in-4, remaining installments still apply to the work completed.)
- After final delivery: the sale is closed. The commercial is yours.
12Confidentiality
We don't share your business info, product details, customer data, or internal notes with anyone. Ever. Period. If you need a formal NDA, we'll happily sign one.
13Governing law & disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If we ever disagree about something, we'll try to work it out directly first. If that fails, we'll go to mediation before anyone heads to court. Any legal action will be filed in Florida.
14The fine print
- This is the entire agreement. Verbal side-deals don't count. Changes must be in writing (email works).
- If any single clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the agreement still applies.
- This agreement assigns if your business is sold — but you must give us written notice of the ownership change.
- This is not legal advice. It's a simple, fair working agreement between two parties.
